Automatic alt text via the Files API
Remedify finds product and theme images that lack a text alternative and proposes alt text for each, written back through the Shopify Files API once you approve it. Decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them. Every write-back is a change you confirm, and it lands in your dated remediation record.
Safe, additive semantic fixes
Where a barrier can be corrected without rewriting your theme, Remedify ships an additive app-embed block that supplies the missing semantics — accessible names, roles, and relationships — without touching protected theme files. The fix is real markup in the rendered page, not a runtime overlay, and it is fully additive so nothing in your existing theme breaks.
Surface-and-guide for contrast, titles, headings, and language
Some issues need a human decision: low color contrast, missing or unclear page titles, broken heading order, and an unset page language.
